Word of God Kook Rant. Found this pasted to a lamppost in Chicago, circa 1994 or earlier. I have more of his rants. He’d post them around town on any free surface. The amazing thing is that he did it all by hand, in ballpoint pen, on looseleaf paper—sometimes filling the entire page. No photocopies. I found his rants in Rogers Park, Wicker Park, and elsewhere. Later rants showed that he was quite peeved that guys like me were taking down his postings. Good thing we did, because otherwise they never would have lasted in Chicago’s weather. One other thing, he seemed consistently annoyed with Michael Bolton and robots. I know not why, my liege.
